Rubicon reports 75% sales spike

Soft drinks manufacturer Rubicon said sales rose by 75 percent during Ramadan, as the company prepares to launch a new range of sparkling fruit juices in the coming weeks.

The UK-based juice brand produces a range of exotic fruit drinks including mango, papaya, passion fruit and guava, as well as lollies and ice creams.

It recently launched in the UAE, partnering with Middle East-based importer Truebell.

Sales increased by up to 75 percent in some markets during the holy month of Ramadan, Rubicon reported on Monday  – though it did not disclose which markets these were.
