We know how limited resources can be for talented young artists across the country. So we’re putting real support behind the culture, spotlighting the voices that represent our cities and nation, and introducing them to new audiences with the energy, quality, and flavour that defines Rubicon.
Together, these efforts are meant to amplify the artists the city already loves, while welcoming in the next wave of listeners.
Recording artist and songwriter born in Jamaica and now based in Toronto, Erin B moves effortlessly between dancehall, R&B, and hip hop. He has opened for Vybz Kartel, earned 10 million+ streams, and continues to showcase the range and versatility that keep every release feeling fresh.
LUM is a rising artist from Windsor, Ontario, blending melodic rap with raw, emotional storytelling that reflects the reality of coming up in a small city with big-city dreams. Known for his smooth flow, sharp pen, and hypnotic vocal tone, LUM has steadily built a name in the Ontario scene through his consistency, vulnerability, and ability to turn lived experience into cinematic music.
A hip hop & Afro-fusion artist, songwriter, and actor with Nigerian and Jamaican roots, EverythingOShauN glides between Afrobeat, trap-soul, and rap to create bold, melodic, and carefully crafted records. A Billboard-charting artist, his catalogue includes songs with ODUMODUBLVCK, and you’ve heard his music in Paramount’s Mayor of Kingstown, Starz’s Heels, TIFF’s Defund, and on international radio.
Toronto-raised and self-made, 8OND started performing on sidewalks outside local high schools before selling out his own shows and opening for icons like Lil Pump, Ice Cube, Smiley, Tony Yayo, and Bankrol Hayden. It’s a story of belief, hustle, and hooks—most recently showcased on his 2024 single “Mezzanine” featuring Road Runner.
